How to Survive 2012?

• Where will we live?
• How will we be able to cook and eat?
• Will there be any edible food or drinkable water?
• What kinds of weapons will we need and how will be protect ourselves?

We will all have to be living in bunkers, where we can be protected from the outside and the unexpected issues. The bunkers will be used only when there is a nuclear attack or other attacks of the sorts. 

Based on the US Army survival manual, most people who have to escape to a sealed bunker, their stay will last around 13 days. The only problem is bunker living isn’t very appropriate for cooking.  Because it would only last for up to 13 days, we can survive off basic camping or outdoor food.  It will be hard to use propane and wood stoves so baking is highly not recommended.

Can bunkers really make it possible to survive 2012?

Surviving 2012:Although the bunkers would have to be dug very deep to withstand a collision of a planet or even a nuclear attack, it is still possible that surviving 2012 is possible. I know of some other authors who already began building bunkers for the family. One such author of the site, survive2012.com, made a very notable point. He said,
“I have no idea if something bad will happen in 2012 or not. Nobody really knows. Most home owners have fire insurance, even though they do not expect their house to ever burn. They have it because losing their home and contents would be devastating, and insurance is quite cheap.

The human species does not have an insurance policy that covers a global cataclysm in 2012. Until governments, organizations or high-worth individuals make an effort; my intention is to do the best I can, because at least 1 person out of 6 billion people should make an effort.”

For protecting yourself, it is important to keep certain weapons or self defense tools with you.  Pepper spray is very effective and according to a survey, people feel safe when they carry it around.  Knives and guns can also help although violence is not the safest route to take.  The best weapon you can have is your mind. 

By educating yourself and being aware of the situations and surroundings, there is a much higher chance that you will stay out of dangers way.  There will most likely be civil unrest, meaning many civilians will panic because of their lack of knowledge of what is going on.  Keeping your mind sharp is key.  Overall there is a lot to know about how to survive 2012, as well there are many expected things that will most likely happen in 2012, such as Mars 2012. Therefore knowing how to deal with them is very beneficial.  Surviving will be something every human is looking to do in a couple years, by reading about it now, you’re getting a head start, which can only have positive effects when it becomes a necessity to survive 2012.
